court by his estranged wife Filda Chauke who was seeking a peace order, citing
abuse as the cause for the separation.

efforts by magistrate Musiiwa to counsel Chibaya fell on deaf ears as he
remained defiant. He later left the courtroom swearing that he stood by his
threat to commit suicide.
