CHIREDZI – FMC Micro-finance has bailed out a number of civil servants and sugarcane farmers in Chiredzi by providing instant loans.
Courage Makunike the loans officer in-charge said his company was committed to stir development in the Lowveld by providing financial assistance. He said they offer instant cash and Agro loans.
“We started here in Chiredzi in 2013; we have assisted quite a number with instant cash and Agro loans. Our aim is to assist farmers in Chiredzi with loan facility so that they can buy their inputs in time as well as assisting civil servants to get instant cash loans,” said Makunike.
Besides civil servants and farmers, Makunike said, they also offer loans to pensioners at a lower interest rate from as little as 9.5 percent per month.
“We have the lowest rates in the district; from as little as 9.5 percent and we do not charge administration fees,” Makunike said.news
