Chiredzi –Tshovani Pharmacy opened a new branch at Zava shopping centre in Tshovani last week, a development that is likely to bring convenience to the people who live close to Zava as well as patients at the general hospital.
Considering the distance between Zava shopping centre and Tshovani Pharmacy’s other branch at the bus terminus and the general hospital, the new pharmacy will be of much use to patients who for a long time had had to cope with the absence of chemist services close by.
“When you have a chemist close to a hospital, you have all the convenience that is needed because people will not have to walk a long distance to buy their prescribed medication.
“Our long working hours will bring even more convenience to the general public. We are operating from 8am till 8pm,” said Thsovani Pharmacy’s Webster Khumalo.
“Our presence is a boost for both the health and economy of the town since our services are aimed at improving the lives of the people of Chiredzi,” he said.
Members of the public who spoke to this publication said they were pleased that health services providers are becoming more confident in the opportunities that the town of Chiredzi offers to business.
“The chemist is close to the hospital and I have managed to get the medication which the doctor prescribed for me and I believe it will be a positive development for more people in the long run,” said one customer.news
