…team adds four points out of possible six

ZVISHAVANE – As Shabanie Mine FC performance on the field continues to fluctuate, football punters are left unsure as to whether the team will be able to keep its spot in the Premier Soccer league (PSL).
Bvaru Bvaru recently managed to partially heal the broken hearts of its fans by defeating Ngezi Platinum 1-0 at Maglas Stadium before drawing 1-1 with Chapungu at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.
The team has been a pale shadow of itself, having last won a league match during the first round of matches. This was then followed by a string of poor results which shattered the hopes of the Bvaru Bvaru faithful.
After the win against Ngezi Platinum, the town of Zvishavane was painted maroon as jubilant Bvaru fans went around celebrating wildly.
“We are proud that we managed to stop a strong team at Maglas. We never thought that we were going to win because we have not been playing well lately,” said a jubilant Luckson Ncube.
Bvaru Bvaru coach Takesure Chiragwi seems to be relishing the moment with some caution though, given the huge task that still lies ahead in the fight to remain in the PSL.
“Fans are our 12th man; they are our strength and I am very happy with their support. We are one family so we fight for one cause and we don’t have to fight each other or to point fingers when things don’t go our way,” said Chiragwi.sport
