16 March 2017, CHIVHU – There was action and drama last week after two pupils in Vees College school uniform were caught having some ‘quality’ time in a thick maize field close to Good Hope Primary School in Chivhu.
The owner of the field, who was doing a routine check on his crop, was stunned when he heard queer sounds coming from one side of the field and decided to investigate.
The boy managed to escape into the bushes, leaving his trousers behind and the shame-faced girl too confused to escape.
“I caught them red-handed in my field where I had gone to check on my crops. The boy escaped but I got hold of the girl who disclosed their names and places of residence…I took the girl to her parents.
“As parents, we agreed that we will punish the two and teach them to behave well. We work hard for their welfare so that they can get an education yet they are spending the time doing something so destructive….just consider their age, they are still young,” said the farmer.
Sources close to the boy said he had since deserted his lodgings after learning that the girl’s parents and the farmer were looking for him and was now living with his friends somewhere in town.
