Dr Shamu

TellZim Reporter

03 April 2017, MWENEZI – The paediatric ward at Neshuro District Hospital has finally been reopened after weeks of forced closure due to severe water crisis.
Provincial Medical Director (PMD) Dr Amadeus Shamu ordered the closure of the ward in February and child patients were admitted into the female ward.
Although Dr Shamu could not immediately comment on the latest developments saying he needed time for some clarifications from District Medical Officer (DMO); Dr Itai Matibiri, TellZim News understands that children have now returned to their section.
Close sources, however, said the water situation had not yet fully normalised but authorities were forced to move children back to their section for fear of disease outbreaks in the female ward which had become heavily congested.
The water crisis at the hospital had also forced authorities to cut-back on new admissions and had led to alleged cases of premature discharge of patients considered to be in non-critical conditions.local

03 April 2017, ZVISHAVANE – The chieftainship wrangle which had has raged in the Masunda area has probably come to an end after the installation of 94-year-old Aaron Vengesa Nyoni as the 13th substantive Chief Masunda since the founding of the Masunda chieftainship in 1850.
Nyoni had occupied the position on an acting basis since 2014 after the death of the then Chief Masunda in 2010 reportedly led to intense disputes among members of the royal line each of whom felt it was their rightful time to take over.
Minister of Rural Development, Preservation and Promotion of National Culture and Heritage Adednico Ncube, who was the guest of honor, urged the newly installed chief to be a figure of peace and harmony in his chiefdom.
“People have been entrusted you with leadership. Lead them wisely and demonstrate exemplary leadership to sustain both the unity. We also urge the chief to shun corruption and coordinate development efforts in his area,” Ncube said.
Chiefs’ Council president, Chief Fortune Charumbira said he expected the chief to address issues of moral decadence that are now common in communities.
“Tsika dzechivanhu dzarasika! Madzishe muripiko?” lamented Charumbira.
Chief Masunda’s area has lately been rocked by bloody battles and gruesome murders linked to rival gold panning gangs.
“Imi vemudzimba dzeushe musazofamba muchikanganisa vanhu munharaunda muchiti muri madzishe, nokuti tinozonzwa zvichinzi mambo haabati vanhu zvakanaka nyamba haasiri iye womene, ndimi vehukama,” Chief Charumbira said.local

31 March 2017, CHIREDZI – Chiredzi Town Council Environmental Health Officer Edson Nyadenga last week clashed with vendors over their relocation to designated market places during a vendors and hawkers stakeholders meeting held at Town Council Boardroom last week.
Nyadenga said council is to move back vendors to their designated places since some of the places are a health time bomb and some vendors are failing to pay levies to the council.
“As council we have decided to relocate vendors to their designated places. This is because some of the vendors are failing to pay market levy to council, at the banana flee market we have finished all the renovations and we feel that the vendors should occupy their places.
“We are not happy with the situation at the banana flee market for there might be an outbreak of cholera if vendors at that place do not exercise hygiene. There is also Msasa drive where there are vendors everywhere, council is yet to give a warning for they should go in the Flee market not in street, we will only allow vendors who sell hardware equipment and they will be in front of N.Richards wholesale,” said Nyadenga.
Nyadenga also announced the designated places for vendors .Council has seen it not suitable to place mobile pay toilets in the streets for some of the vendors are selling on residential areas.
“For the designated places there is Banana and flee market at the light industry ,vegetable market along one way, vegetable market at Zava, Musika wematanda vegetable market. For some of the market places vendors should engage council and council will be the one to consider if the place is proper.
” It is however not proper for us to place mobile pay toilets at all the points where vendors are, some are in the residential areas for it is not suitable to place toilets ,residents need to breath fresh air” added Nyadenga.
However speaking to (CHIRRA) Chiredzi Residents Rate Payers Association Secretary Munyaradzi Chindowe denied the idea that vendors relocate to their designated places due to economic hardship and population increase.
“Vendors are in the streets because most people do not have jobs, our economy is not stable. Council should allow vendors to sell their products in streets since they are paying a fee to local council which will all be a benefit to the residents,” said Chindowe.local

Beatific Gumbwanda

31 March 2017, CHIREDZI – Former Chiredzi North legislator and current Zanu PF Masvingo Provincial Secretary for Information, Ronald Ndaba is allegedly on the ground mobilising support base in Chiredzi urban’s ward 1 as 2018 beacons.
Ndaba, who served two terms as Chiredzi North Legislator before he was outweighed by Robert Mukwena, is reported to have decided to try his luck in Ward One.
When contacted for comment, Ndaba denied harboring any ambitions of contesting in the 2018 elections saying people are spreading rumors.
“It’s just rumours my friend; I have no interests to become a concillor. In fact if I wanted to be a councilor I could have done that before I became an MP back then. People just circulate rumours but I am not interested in any position,” said Ndaba.
Ndaba, an alleged Lacoste faction loyalist, is believed to have diverted his attention from Chiredzi North to Ward One after strong other candidates emerge ahead of 2018 elections.
“Ndaba wanted to try his luck again as a parliamentarian in 2018 but has since decided to pave way for Roy Bhila who has covered more ground than any potential candidate. They are from the same faction and they cannot be seen contesting each other at primaries,” said a close source.
Bhila could not be reached for comment by the time of going to press.politics

31 March 2017, MWENEZI – Zanu PF Ward 2 councillor, Munyaradzi Sigogo is underfire from party members for allegedly cosying up to opposition politics through his association with Kudakwashe Bhasikiti of the opposition Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF).
Bhasikiti has been the ZimPF candidate in the upcoming Mwenezi East parliamentary by-election until his decision on March 23 to withdraw from the race alleging intimidation of his supporters and vote-buying by Zanu PF.
When contacted for comment, Sigogo told TellZim News there were people peddling falsehoods that he had a soft spot for ZimPF.
“I am not a ZimPF supporter. Yes, they are denouncing me even in my presence but they do not have any evidence. The relationship between me and Bhasikiti is that he is my son-in-law,”said Sigogo.
At a rally held at Rutenga Primary School recently, Zanu PF Masvingo provincial political commissar Jeppy Jaboon openly denounced Sigogo.
” … Pasi naKudakwashe  Bhasikiti na Sigogo ne vose vanomutevera…,” said Jaboon.
Zanu PF provincial secretary for transport and welfare, who is also the Mwenezi district chairperson, Machoko also said Sigogo had shifted his political allegiances.
“It’s known that Sigogo has shifted from Zanu PF to ZimPF. We have already written to the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs, Shuvai Mahofa.

ED, show us a bit of aggressiveness

0

Mapombi wishes if she were a man – dai ndakaitwa murume zvaiva nani maybe I would have changed the world, or would have at least changed Zimbabwe in case I failed to change the whole world. I am more aggressive than the majority men in Zanu PF.
When I was still growing up kwedu kwaChirimudombo uko, I used to hear words like bootlicking, singing for own super ndichishaya kuti zvomboreveikowo but now I know. When I heard Webster Shamu saying vaMugabe iCremora and when Chombo knelt down before Dr Amai ndakabva ndaziva kuti ndoinonzi bootlicking at its worst. Asi zvimwe munozvinyanya vakomana; murume mukuru shuwa kugwadamira Dr Amai. Hahahaha tibvirei apa! Gwadagwa.
No wonder I used to like the late decorated army commander Solomon Mujuru more than ED Ngwena. Solo was more aggressive than this self-proclaimed crocodile. He was a real – ndovainzi varume kwete zveava vakanyorwa pamatoilet.
Mapombi heard even the CEO himself, yes Mugabe chaiye aijamba kana Mujuru ataura. I wish if we had two or three strong characters like the late army general zvingadaro zvinhu zvakanaka kare kare. The problem is, like what Julius Malema correctly pointed out that Zanu PF is full of cowards, we do not have people who have the courage to face the CEO and tell him in the face kuti mukuru mava kuuvondonga kambani. This reminded me of the late System Tazvida’s song with the lyrics; ‘Vaforomani ndimi maondonga purazi, gadzirisai mitemo yenyu vanhu vashande…’
But Zimbabwe could have been a different country all together if we had strong characters in Zanu PF and in the opposition. We wouldn’t be having these fish ponds in our roads and this buttered economy. The holes on our roads are now bigger than the size of a pot therefore, cannot be called potholes anymore but fish ponds.
Mapombi was, all along, thinking that ED Ngwena is powerful and courageous but haiwawo musanyeperwe. Mati kungongwarira kudzingisa vamwe muparty hakozve. Mapombi used to admire the Croc and wished kuti dai akangondipawo mwana pamwe ndiri smallhouse yake but now handichada. The chap is a coward!
We all know that Team Lacoste won elections for the Masvingo provincial chairmanship but what happened? Kkkkkkk the results were nullified rakacheka nyika madhongi achikuma and we are now preparing for re-election.
Mapombi can safely and confidently tell you that the elections will again be a non-event if Chadzamira wins. In fact, Team Lacoste must not win the election. Period! This is happening in ED Ngwena’s eyes but the Croc remains mum. For how long? Haaa Cde show us a bit of seriousness and aggressiveness. Tinongonzwa nembiri kuti you are shrewd; can you show your shrewdness to Mugabe? Kwete kungodherera isu vana Mapombi who are vulnerable.
Tell the old man that it’s time up. We now need a new face; even in the name of Dr Amai Grace Mugabe. Kkkkkkk gore iroro kunokamwa mbwa shuwa; kutsva mapadza mupinyi ichisara.
But Dr Amai is at least better vanotaurira munhu chokwadi. Not chokwadi as such but, I mean, vanohumana havanyare munhu. At least we credit her for successfully pushing out Queen Bee Joice Mujuru from Zanu PF and government. At least that was notable ko imi bamboo vangu makaitei except those evil stories we hear about you like the Gukurahundi massacres?
It’s almost lunch time guys allow me to go ndindokanga maputi angu for lunch. But I heard Kudakwashe Bhasikiti zvamuremera kuMwenezi uku against Joosbi Omar. Kkkkkk taizviziva izvi kuti ndima iyi ine makata inotoda muchina muhombe chaiwo.
But Mapombi heard that Bhasikiti’s reasons for pulling out are genuine and real. ZEC is just watching Zanu PF engaging in vote-buying and intimidation. How can government food aid be distributed at Zanu PF rallies? What’s the meaning of that? At least Bhasikiti has a genuine case though pamwe vakatya havo kurakashwa.
By the way, Mnangagwa is coming to Mwenezi this weekend to prop up Mzukuru Joosbi. Kwati kwati neMuzukuru! Mapombi is very sure the Lacoste faction would like to separately meet the Midlands godfather for a pep talk ahead of the party provincial re-elections. May the best faction win at the end of all this.
Let me go and have some rotten bananas while I try to create some fire ndikange hangu maputi angu for lunch. But cyclone Dineo wacho haanyarewo here my life has been hell for almost two months now because of her. Bhasikiti said cyclone Dineo, Dr Amai and Joice Mujuru zvakangofanana kkkkkkkkk.
Where is Mphoko by the way? Kuhotera vachirikugarako here zviya? The only Vice President to ever specialise in chick and incubator donation kkkkkkkk. Mboko imboko!mapombi
