“We decided to give wheelchairs to Mutukwa, who had been using crutches and Mutoto who could not walk as she spends the whole day lying down. We gave them these wheelchairs because we noticed that it was difficult for them to move around.
“I want to thank all those who partner with us to look after the vulnerable. May the Lord bless you and l hope you will continue to support us,” said Chatiza.
Mutukwa was grateful for the wheelchair that he got from VAMDET saying he used to face challenges whenever he wanted to move around.
“I am the happiest person today. Thank you so much for the wheelchair that you gave me. It was difficult for me to travel long distances using crutches but since I have a wheelchair now, it’s now easy,” Mutukwa said.
Mutukwa was using crutches and it was difficult for him to travel long distances.
Matoto, who is paralyzed cannot do anything on her own and will be lying down most of the time.
Chatiza said she will now be able to play with others and move around.
