Lady Squanda rides on KingKlear riddim

19 Feb 2017 – MASVINGO – Harare-based ZimDancehall artists; Lady Squanda and Spiderman have joined forces to promote Ceeklear Productions by recording some music with the production company as well as looking for collaborations with local artists.
The two popular artists are set to do a collaboration with Jah Stone under the Ceeklear Productions stable.
Lady Squanda told TellZim News it was important to work with upcoming production houses and artists to develop local potential.
“We decided to come and record our music in Masvingo as a way of uniting the ZimDancehall family and helping upcoming talented producers gain ground in the music industry.
“We also want to grow our fan base in Masvingo and make our names known to the people here,” said Lady Squanda.
Singling out Liberty ‘King Lee’ Chaira, the Dancehall chanter lauded efforts by local promoters to develop local talent.
Ceeklear Productions director, Gabriel Ndale said he was impressed by the recognition being given to local talent by big Harare-based names like Lady Squanda.
“I am happy to work with established artists as we move forward to grow brand Masvingo. Their support is greatly cherished,” Ndale said.
Meanwhile, Spiderman, real name Jonnel Tanjani, has been all smiles after he passed his ‘O’ Levels with four As and four Bs.
 “I am happy that I managed to strike a fine balance between my education and my music. My dream is to become a doctor but I will not let my fans down so I will keep on releasing music,” he said.
Spiderman will toast his pass by holding a show in Masvingo on a date and venue to be announced. He will also be giving away free copies of his yet to be released album.entertainment
