It is the state’s case as presented by prosecutor Godknows Madondo that at around 1400 hours, the accused and complainant met at their stands to settle a boundary dispute with the Chief’s messenger after Ruzvidzo blocked a road leading to Mandinyeya’s homestead.
The two started to exchange words while at their fields the two started to quarrel and the accused person approached the complainant, punched her with fists on the right cheek and kicked her on her right ribs before biting her on the right hand middle and ring fingers.
The complainant sustained bite marks on the fingers and a swollen right cheek.
The complainant’s husband who was nearby reportedly came and refrained the accused from further assaulting the complainant and the matter was later reported to the police.

The trio was accused of stealing a heifer belonging to one Elias Masango
Masango accused the three of stealing his beast when in actual terms he exchanged it for an ox belonging to Knowledge.
Knowledge then later sold the heifer in 2018 for US$ 400 to cover for funeral expenses for his young brother Peter Musariri who had passed on.
Masango followed to where the beast was sold trying to reclaim it, the matter was later reported to the police.
