Kwekwe- Police here have confirmed receiving reports of a spat of robbery cases that occurred around the Riverside area, Kwekwe, on May 27, 2024, at about 0140 hours.
Midlands Provincial Police Spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the incident and is appealing for information regarding the suspects’ whereabouts
“I confirm receiving reports of eight robbery cases which occurred around the Riverside area in Kwekwe.
“We are appealing to members of the public who might know these culprits to contact any police station,” said Mahoko.
Circumstances are that, six unknown men caused havoc in Sunnyside and Riverside plots in Kwekwe when they robbed homesteads and tuck shops, looting cash, groceries and various items.
About two houses and four tuck shops were broken into.
The suspects were forcefully opening doors and demanding cash, cellphones, groceries, and other valuables.
