Popular national radio personality, Tilda Moyo has pledged to help the Youth Empowerment Hub (YEH) to develop and venture into bigger, more meaningful projects.
Tilda, as she is affectionately known by her host of fans, took the stance last Friday night during a well-decorated Valentine’s Dinner organised by YEH at Flamboyant Hotel where she was invited as a speaker.
The radio presenter led a question and answer segment where couples shared their challenges and experiences.
Tristan Zharare, who is Tilda’s brand manager, told TellZim News that YEH had proved to be a group of well-organised young people with immense potential to do many great things.
“We have seen a lot of potential in these youths and we are looking forward to work with them whenever and wherever they need us. We are pleased to be part of this event and it’s an honour to be in Masvingo for such a noble programme,” said Zharare.
The event saw some couples being awarded certificates and accolades in different categories such as dancing, dressing, games among other competitions. The Mtetwa family got the couple of the year and well-dressed couple awards.
YEH national president, Artwell Murambatsvina said he was glad that Tilda had expressed confidence in the work being done by the organisation.
“This is a humbling experience and we appreciate the support that Tilda and her crew have given us. Ours is a resolve to build the potential of young people to help themselves for the sake of poverty alleviation and economic opportunities,” said Murambatsvina.entertainment
