The opening of Blessed Children ECD Centre offers a perfect opportunity for young children to learn and develop their minds in a welcoming environment while sufficiently preparing for primary education.
Eunice Dube, who is the Director for Blessed Children ECD Centre said the school is defined by passion for the proper grooming of children from an early age.
“Coming from a teaching background, I have always wanted to be involved with child education. The 15 years I worked as a teacher helped me to develop and strengthen my passion for children. My goal is to help children become the best they can in life through effective nurturing of their talents.
“Our name, Blessed Children, is a recognition of the important place that children have in our hearts as parents and in society as a whole, said Dube.
Starting with only 30 children when it opened in 2012, the centre has managed to grow its reputation, with many parents recognising it as an excellent place to enroll their children.
“We are very proud of our record so far because a good number of pupils at such schools as Shabani Primary have passed through our hands with most of them doing very well and getting awards,” said Dube.
Apart from teaching and taking care of children, Dube said they have a number of summer activities on offer.
“We have exciting activities for our children. We occasionally take them to tourist attractions and we have various sporting activities,” she said.
Parents can also relax knowing their children are learning under sanitary conditions as the centre has installed two reserve water tanks and a solar system for power back-up.
Tested borehole water ensures that the place never runs out of running water at all times.
Indeed, the children who are enrolled at the centre are blessed, enjoying the privilege of doing computer lessons at a tender age.
An astute business woman with high ambitions, Dube has received a certificate in recognition of her contribution in the Small to Medium Enterprises sector for her enterprising efforts.news
