CHIREDZI – Jesus for Africa Evangelistic Ministries (JFAEM) leader Paul Saungweme has broken his silence on his purported exit from Zaoga Forward in Faith Ministries, saying he was still a follower of Bishop Ezekiel and Eunor Guti.
There have been widespread speculations that Saungweme had left Zaoga and had decided to start his own church.
In an interview with TellZim News after his five day crusade held at Tshovani Stadium recently, Saungweme said that it was mere hearsay that he had separated himself from Zaoga, claiming he started JFAEM with the ‘anointing’ of Bishop Guti.
“I am still a follower of Bishop Guti; I still go to Zaoga if I do not have a schedule elsewhere on Sundays. Bishop Guti is still my father. It’s only that I now have a ministry not a church, just like David in the in the Bible, he was the son of Jesse but served Saul,” said Saungweme.
He said JFAFEM was a combination of different church believers who come together and preach the word of God to the people for salvation’s sake.
“JAFEM is not a church, we are a ministry comprising believers from different churches who come together and preach the word. Our aim is to spread the word of God to the people so that people can be saved,” said Saungweme.
“The idea is to spread the word of God to every corner and at the end of the day, a person should choose a church. Just like what Joyce Meyer does, she preaches the word and people choose their church. JFAFEM is not a church,” he said.
The crusade attracted thousands of people and was graced by pastors from different churches such as Awake Grace Ministries, Zaoga, Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) and other inter-denominational alliances like the Evangelical Fellowship in Zimbabwe (EFZ) and Pastors Fraternal.religion

Zaka DA bans Heal Zimbabwe

District Administrator (DA) Victor Zinanga

…chief walks away in protest

Brighton Chiseva

ZAKA – District Administrator (DA) Victor Zinanga last week told a full Zaka Rural District Council (RDC) meeting at Jerera that Heal Zimbabwe was not welcome in the district, saying the civic organisation had not signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the local authority.
Zinanga told councillors, chiefs and legislators who attended the meeting that they should not welcome people from the organisation in their communities.
“Heal Zimbabwe is not welcome in Zaka! If they come to you, turn them down because Zaka has not signed an MoU with the organisation,” said Zinanga.
A few weeks ago, the organisation, which works to promote peace, harmony and healing at community level, helped to organise a soccer tournament for the youth in the district.
Zinanga, however, said Heal Zimbabwe had simply hijacked a programme which had been started by Zaka Central Member of Parliament (MP) Paradzai Chakona.
After Zinanga has made the announcement, Chief Nhema born Rangarirai Bwawanda, raised objections against the order, asking Zinanga why Heal Zimbabwe must now be banned when it was the DA himself and Chakona who had allowed them to organise the soccer tournament.
A heated exchange between the two followed, with the DA telling Chief Nhema that he was being childish, an insult which caused the chief to walk out of the meeting.
When contacted for comment, Heal Zimbabwe director Rashid Mahiya said the organisation was legally registered and there was no law that obligates them to have a MoU with anyone in order to carry out their work.
“We are a conflict-sensitive organisation which would ordinarily seek to avoid conflict but we are guided by the constitution. We have community structures in Zaka. I hope the DA does not think he is the law nor is opposed to our message of peaceful co-existence.
“We submitted our documents to the PA (Provincial Administrator) two years ago to show our conflict sensitivity,” Mahiya said.
Zaka is one of the districts which recorded some of the most gruesome cases of political violence in the recent past and is known for the petrol bombing of MDC-T offices during the June 2008 presidential election run-off election, an attack which left two people dead.local, politics

Mr and Miss Masvingo Poly after their crowning

Brighton Chiseva

MASVINGO – Panashe Mbewe and Simbarashe Mbabvu were last week crowned Miss and Mr Masvingo Poly respectively after a tightly-contested competition held at the Charles Austin Theatre.
The two winners emerged victorious after beating a total of 14 other equally determined contestants.
Shantel Mahaso and Rudo Mukatyamari were crowned 1st and 2nd Princesses respectively while Tariro Chisuvi was crowned Miss Personality. Farai Masenda and Tinashe Misha were crowned 1st and 2nd Princes respectively.
Mbewe said she had always been confident that she was going to win, having previously won the Miss Personality title last year.
“The competition was stiff since there were other bug names among the contestants like last year’s Miss Valentine Masvingo,” said Mbewe.
On the other hand, Mbabvu said he was surprised by the win as it was his first time to contest in such a competition.
“I was surprised by the results since it is my first time to compete. I thank my friend Tracy Masunda for she is the one who persuaded me to contest,” said Mbabvu.
Masvingo Polytechnic College Student Representative Council (SRC) president Promise Mudavanhu thanked the college administration for the financial support they extended to the contest, itself a brainchild of the SRC.
“Next year we will ask for more financial support from local business people. This year we were supported by George Maponga,” said Mudavanhu.entertainment

So our late Mbudzi wrote ‘O’ Level for Chiwenga?

Kkkkkkk Zimbabwe and its leadership!
Mapombi heard munyika maita umwe anenge mupengo unonzi Nkosana Moyo who thinks he can come from self-exile and become President of this country. President Mugabe once said kana wafemerwa nemukadzi kumba worota watonga nyika ino – zviroto zviroto!
And this Nkosana guy is really a joke; honestly after running away in 2001 and spending close to two decades in the diaspora tichisvuurwa nenhamo yaMugabe toga muno, he suddenly pops up hanzi ndava kuda kuita President kkkkkkkk nhamo.
Zimbabwe is not Mberengwa Cde! He neglected chin hygiene long time ago and it’s really difficult to trust such a person to run the whole country when he cannot even take care of his chin. Mapombi laughed lungs out when she saw some pictures of Nkosana moving around the streets eating sugarcane and boarding kombis kkkkkkkk bambo vangu makainonokera colgate.
Mapombi’s advice to Nkosana is very simple; do not follow people Cde but let people follow you.  Kana iri nzara why can’t Nkosana join Mnangagwa camp and stop bringing confusion among opposition parties.
But Mapombi is happy Morgan Tsvangirai summed it up recently when he signed something with the leader of Transform Zimbabwe, Jacob Ngarivhume. Hanzi rwizi runozara nemadiriro so it is all these tributaries which would eventually feed into Save, the biggest river in the country.  Musazoti hamuna kuzvinzwa vana Joice Mujuru, Egypty Dzinemunhenzva, Tendai Biti, Welshman Ncube and Simba Makoni nevamwewo vasati vava kuzikanwa sana Nkosana Moyo.
But Mapombi has realised one thing about Zanu PF and MDC-T of late. Have you ever noticed that these two political parties no longer use recent pictures of their leaders? Zanu yava kushandisa picture yaMugabe yekuma 1980 while MDC-T uses Tsvangirai’s picture yekuma2008. Mapombi guesses the reasons are obvious – kuchembera nekurwara!
But why afraid to use current pictures if that is the person you believe in? Why not use Mugabe iyeye wachembera or Tsvangirai ari kurwara iyeye kana ari iye wamuri kuda? After all who doesn’t know that Mugabe wachembera? Or that Tsvangirai is not feeling well?  Please do not use yester year pictures tipeiwo cuurent pictures so that we know how our leaders look like at the moment.
Anyway, can someone who really know this Pyschology Maziwisa guy tell me kuti dzakanyatso kuti kwesere here or dzakangotambawo nevana sedzana Mapombi?  Mapombi thinks this Maziwisa guy is overrated – the truth is that he is a dunderhead. Bharanzi zvaro.
How can he say all old people must be assisted to vote? Kutsvaga kuda kubiririra masikati machena – who says old people cannot vote at their own?
Mapombi begins to think that Maziwisa akataura dimikira; he was actually referring to his party president Mugabe that he no longer thinks properly therefore he must be assisted to vote come 2018. Ndomafungirewo avo vaPyschology zvisinei chiringazuva chedu chabva chatsvuka chikakwata saka nyaya yavo ngatimboisiira pano tozoibata muchikamu chinotevera.
Mapombi was so excited by the news she got few days ago. Mapombi heard zvakazonyandurana manje gonzo nachin’ai and things are not so well between Professor Jonathan Moyo and Army Commander Constantino Chiwenga. I heard masecrets ese ava kubuda manje.
Mapombi heard kuti our late Retired Colonel Kudzai Mbudzi is the one who wrote ‘O’ Level examinations for Chiwenga kkkkkkkkkkk. We all know Mbudzi was damn intelligent – that might be very possible. Mapombi heard again that even the doctorate (PhD) our good commander vakaitirwa futi kkkkkkk gore rino. Handei tione!
Gariswa madhara aya kungonyepera kuchenjera nyambiswa hapana chinozivikanwa. Gore riya we heard that our former RBZ governor Gideon Gono vaiitirwa PhD yavo naDr Munyaradzi Kereke. Now we are hearing that the army commander vakatonyorerwa even ‘O’ Level chaiyo kkkkkkkk.
Politics is a dirty game kana madzida motoshinga because chokwadi chese chinobuda pachena. Anyway, we are waiting to hear who did Dr Chiwenga’s PhD for him. As long as we have internet connection our good Professor Moyo will soon tweet. Tichaonerera nhaka.
At least we now know kuti madhara aya hapana zvinozivikanwa kungwarira paguyo sehuku. They use power to get anything – from beautiful women, wealthy to academic qualifications.
It’s almost lunch time guys let me go ndindozvikangira hangu maputi angu for lunch but will pass through nekuTanaiwa market looking for rotten bananas. But last week ndakamboiitei yoghurt from Gushungo dairy. Wish if we can have another youth interface rally again here in Masvingo ndimboipamha zvakare yoghurt. Mapombi now knows why varume vachirambira pazvigaro ava vari kudya tunonaka – didn’t you see them eating Lays that day? Isu vana Mapombi tichingokuvara nawo maputi.
By the way, Mphoko is too quiet these days – Mapombi is very sure that he is brewing something. Very soon he will crack another shocker – don’t forget he is the same guy who spent close to two years living in a five star hotel ka uyu. Mphoko imboko!mapombi

“The interviews were conducted and a special full council meeting that convened last week resolved that it will accept the results as per their outcome and no any alterations will be made.
“As for the announcement of the results, I am not sure about the exact dates because the results have to undergo a number of procedures; from the Provincial Administrator (PA) up to the highest level,” said Chingwe.

The candidates were grilled by council CEOs from various parts of the country as well as by officials from the DA and PA’s offices among others.
