ZAKA – The Musiso trainee priest who allegedly impregnated a form three pupil at Musiso High School is said to have told the girl’s parents that they must give him ‘his wife’ as he does not want to lose both his work and the girl.
Sources said the priest had despaired about his job as the Catholic church was most likely to fire him from his position and was now hoping to at least be allowed to take in the girl as his wife ‘so that he does not suffer double loss.’
The trainee priest is reported to have been removed from the institution but TellZim News could not establish his whereabouts by the time of going to print.
The sources also said the girl was withdrawn from school and was now staying with her grandparents in Mushungwa area from where she will resume her studies next term at Chimbwembwe Secondary School.
“The girl is in Mushungwa area and the priest asked the girl’s mother if he could marry the girl so that he doesn’t lose both his work and the girl,” the source said.
It is also said when he allegedly impregnated the girl, the trainee priest was sharing accommodation with a student teacher at Musiso Catholic Primary School (CPS) who was also in a relationship with a form four pupil at the high school.
The affair was eventually bust and the matter was reported to Bondolfi Teachers College, where the student teacher is training, for investigations.

These incidents come a few months after another Catholic father based in Checheche married a form six pupil at Musiso and was dismissed from work.topnews, local
