FC Platinum appoints Under 19 coach

Gweru- Zimbabwe Premier Soccer (PSL) champions FC Platinum has announced the appointment of a seasoned new U19 coach to take of the club’s junior football.
The new coach Alexio Sigion who joins the pure Platinum boys brings in vast and rich football experience to the Zvishavane based outfit.
He will be assisted by Moses Mwafulirwa.
Announcing the new arrival FC Platinum General Manager Denzel Mkandla said Sigion is bringing in vast experience to the club.
“Seated with me is Alexio Sigion, he has coached a lot of teams in the Premier League including Shabanie Mine. The reason we appointed him is based on the vast experience he has in the field. We seek to ensure graduation and transition of our U19 into the senior team through his experience.
“We saw him fit for the job and he will help us to promote level based players and we are happy to have him so that he takes charge of the U19 side,” Mkandla said.
Sigion expressed gratitude to FC Platinum for the opportunity.
“For me it’s a great opportunity to be under FC Platinum umbrella, the club are champions with a great record.
“I am honoured to be in a club where there is philosophy and such a great record of quality football,” he said.
FC Platinum U19 ply their trade in the Central Region Division 1 league.
