Seventh Day Adventist Church is carrying out Hope for Masvingo Campaign to be held from April 23 – May 6 2017 to spread lifestyle messages in preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
The church has pitched tents at Francis Aphiri Primary School, Mugodhi Church next to Vurombo Primary School, Mucheke High School grounds, Rujeko A grounds, Eastvale Park and Shakashe SDA church.
Zimbabwe SDA Education and Communication Director Pastor Felix Njini said people need to be taught the truth about what is written in the scriptures basing on Mathew 25 verse 5.
“This campaign’s overall objective is to let people know that we are living in the last days which are written in Mathew that many unBiblical teachings and churches will mushroom everywhere to mislead people,” Pastor Njini said.
He encouraged everybody to come for the services which are open to everyone regardless of where they attend church.
“We are saying let us go back to what the scriptures really say as Christians regardless of our different churches. We are inviting everyone even those who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their saviour so that everyone can understand and prepare before the end of the world,” said Pastor Njini.
The services start at 17:30 and end at 20:00 and admission is free.religion
