Gweru – Ruvimbo Funeral central region soccer league leading outfit Telone FC has hinted on reinforcing their squad as the second round of the league is about to begin.
The league reached its half way mark over the weekend,with the Gweru side currently reigning on the log with 30 points, ahead of FC Platinum Under 19 who are standing at 27 points.
Opening up on the development, Wifi Boys Assistant Coach, Jacob Mzokomba said the strike force was one area, the club will be looking to make new signings
“We want to add to our strikers, as we noticed against Tongogara we lacked the cutting edge towards the end of the match, so we will bring in new faces there,”
“Most probably we may look at bringing back some of our players we had sent on loan as well as signing new players totally,” said Mzokomba
Mzokomba added that the aditions were just a move to fortify their side since.
“The second round is the toughest, there are a lot of injuries also mind you, the games that take place, so we have to be better position ourselves,” he added.
