Amayeza Construction Company based in Masvingo recently entered into a partnership with Masvingo United FC (Una Una) which will see the company providing soccer kits and other necessities for the team.
Speaking to this publication, Amayeza Director Michael Taderera said the company was going to give part of its profits on each project they are going to get to Una Una for the team’s upkeep.
He said through partnering with Una Una, the company hopes to boost its profits through marketing since a lot of people meet and socialize while watching soccer.

The 10 percent will be channeled towards providing the team with soccer jerseys, refreshments to use during matches, food and for starters we have given them jerseys for training with soccer kits for matches to follow.
“This partnership is going to help our company raise its profits through marketing as we will be able to attract potential customers from the soccer lovers who will be following and gathering to watch Una Una’s matches,” said Taderera.
Amayeza specializes in housing, road construction , plumbing, drain laying and mining rehabilitation.
Masvingo United coach George Magariro applauded the move by Amayeza to partner the team and said the arrangement was going to benefit both sides.

“We are happy because of the support that we are getting from Amayeza, the move is going to benefit both sides, the team and the company. This sponsorship is important to us because we are getting soccer jerseys, refreshments and food among other things. This is a good example of how communities can help in sport development,” said Magariro.
