Declare Mugabe national disaster; should we?

0

Can someone tell my comrades from Team Lacoste that having people at grassroots and having power are too different things. Kudiwa nevanhu nesimba rekutonga zvakatosiyana vakomana! Mapombi is always telling people kuti election or no election zvakangofanana because those with power will always impose what they want – whether it’s against the vote of the majority.
Tsvangirai kakahwina gore riye kakaitwa sei? Kakadashurwa! Kkkkkkk seka zvako Mapombi of the unknown totem inonzi Zanu PF iyi vana Chadzamira. Mapombi heard sekuru Hungwe was bragging kuti Gushungo 40 (G40) takaidashura manje zvamakaidya Chadzamira wacho aripiko nhai Chasura?
Mapombi told you Gushungo 40 iyi inonetsa kukunda as long as mukuru achiripo. They reversed everything and ordered a re-run hanzi Chadzamira’s over 12 000 votes against Masanganise’s paltry 4000 are not enough for one to win an election.
Haaa nemiwo Team Lacoste makapata. Muri mapenzi chaiwo imi. You shouldn’t have allowed Tyson and Whitehead vachiita zvavanoda mhani. Chadzamira won and it’s known everywhere but muri kungobatirirwa makatarisa. Nxaaaa! Wake up and smell the coffee you cowards. Kungwarira kuseka Tsvangirai hanzi wakatizira Botswana in 2008 when he had, in actual fact won the election. You move around town portraying yourselves as the most intelligent ones – kkkkkkk, nhamo.
But like Mapombi told you last week that a Monitor Lizard (Burwa) is more dangerous than a toothless crocodile. Ngwena yamunopa mbiri haina mazino iyi. It’s better to appoint Mapombi as the leader of Lacoste faction that a self-proclaimed crocodile which is proving not be. In fact it is a tortoise which always draws its head back into the shell whenever there is trouble and remain hibernating while brave members of the faction get crucified. Muchapera mese makasvinura sematemba Musazoti Mapombi haana kutaura.
Though the Lacoste team is being led by cowards; at least the message was very loud and clear – that is, Gushungo 40 haina door kuno kuMasvingo. Whether Masanganise ndisekuru vaPresident Mugabe or not we really don’t care about that. Mapombi is very sure Mugabe also got the message clear that Masvingo haichada zvemadhisinyongoro.
By the way, Mapombi read an article recently where Julius Malema was suggesting that Zimbabweans should declare Mugabe a national disaster the same way Aids, Cholera in 2008, Chingwizi in 2014 and Cyclone Dineo were declared? Should we?
Mapombi is just asking fellow Zimbabweans and I am not suggesting that Malema is right. But to praise your wife Grace like that haaaaaa; I think that was too much. Kkkkkkk hanzi makamunzwaka fireworks kkkkkkk fireworks dzekutaura zvepabonde hazvoka?
And to say Dr Amai is now politically mature is shameful to say the least. Zvinonyadzisa kutaura izvi. Mapombi is always a gentleman handivanzi. Tingori vakadzi two in the whole country who are gentlemen kkkkkkk ini naGrace but inini ndakazonyanyisa because ndokuudzai zvazviri. The truth is Dr Amai is not yet mature unless if we are talking about kuwonyokera vanhu. Imagine spending hours speaking about how bees have sex in the air hahahahahaha. And you say that person has politically matured? Ndinodzirega politics dzacho kana zvakadaro. Itai henyu nana Queen Bee (Joice Mujuru) and ana Tsvangirai.
But Mugabe mahwani – hanzi a successor will be chosen by the people and the two vice-presidents are not fit to succeed him. Mapombi can confidently tell you what President Mugabe meant by that statement. It’s very simple – Mnangagwa is not wanted by the people; so the people, in this instance the youth and women’s league, will choose the successor who is none other than Dr Amai. Period!
You might say Mapombi ava kupenga manje but ndatokuudzai politics hatidzigone asi tinodzionera. And one thing Mapombi realised –zvenyu zvekuti the service chiefs vanojamuka hee-e this and that ndezvamanyepo! They also sing for their supper and anything that Mugabe says will have no one to object asi kutoti yes shefu, ndizvozvo chaizvo boss.
But if we had 1 000 people like Mapombi maybe Zimbabwe would be a different country today because ndinonzi mafirakureva and ndinofira zvokwadi. I would also want to agree with Malema that let us declare the CEO a national disaster then we start from there. Asi muchiti Chamatama chingaikonewa here kuitonga nyika iyi? Haiwavo tibvirei apa hanzi anoda vakadzi too much kuti pane murume asingavade? Mutikwanire kuti atora mukadzi wemunhu here? Angotora wemunhu kuti isu vana Mapombi masingle mother tapera here regai ambotongavo Tsvangirai wacho.
Guys it’s almost lunch time allow me to go ndindokanga hangu maputi angu for lunch but with this cyclone Dineo hameno moto wacho ukabata. Anyone with even kaOne plate stove guys andipewo then kana pane ane magetsi azondibatsirawo futi because here at Dr Grace Mugabe Trading Centre, there is no electricity. Kana zvaramba I will resort to eating rotten bananas. But Maputi anototi akangwe hawo.
Mapombi heard Dofora is at it again. I mean uyu muchawa uyu! Anyway, I will deal with him next week aguta kunyarwa apa ari kuwedzera kuchengeta ndebvu wena. Mboko imboko!mapombi

07 March 2017, NORTON – The Election Resource Centre (ERC) has called upon journalists to give their security top priority and uphold the highest forms of professionalism as the country hurtles towards elections next year.
Addressing news editors and journalists at a workshop on capacity building at Pakare Paye Arts Centre, ERC Technical Lead in Training and Outreach, Solomon Bobosibunu called for extreme caution.
“This is the most critical time. As we approach 2018, you need to be extra careful.  You must never venture into a hostile environment alone, just invite your colleagues from other media houses and know a way of retreat,” Bobosibunu warned.
Zimbabwe Human Rights Association representative, Cynthia Manjoro urged journalists to vigilantly expose human rights violations without putting themselves in the firing line.
“Journalists bear the responsibility of enlightening us on matters of human rights violations. Citizens need to be provided with all the information they require,” Manjoro said.
The workshop, which was attended by other stakeholders like Heal Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights, saw journalists exchanging ideas on how to strike a balance between the serving the public interest and safeguarding their personal security.local

Chiredzi Town boss accused of sabotaging Mugabe birthday

Francis Moyo

Beatific Gumbwanda

07 March 2017, CHIREDZI – Dozens of Zanu PF supporters who failed to travel to Matobo for President Robert Mugabe’s 93rd birthday party have blamed factional shenanigans by Chiredzi Town Council chairperson, Francis Moyo, for the debacle.
Sources said Moyo, who is suspected of having a soft spot for Team Lacoste, and Zanu PF provincial youth league member Phillip ‘Dhalo’ Chiedza, had been tasked to handle logistics of the journey but reportedly deliberately botched the whole thing.
The sources also said it was not the first time Moyo had bungled, as he, with his other named friends, allegedly did the same during the President’s 92nd birthday bash held at the Great Zimbabwe monuments last year.
When contacted for comment, Moyo was coy with information, choosing only to say the speculations were absolute lies.
“The claims that we sabotaged the trip are all lies young man, this is all I can say,” said Moyo.
Sources, however, maintained that Moyo had received all the support needed to make the trip a success, with former Tongaat Hullet executive, Farai Musikavanhu reportedly pumping US$600 to buy fuel, pay toll gate fees and buy refreshments along the way.
It is said Musikavanhu was shocked when he was told the trip had been aborted under unclear circumstances.
“This is politics my friend, Msikavanhu is dinning with the wrong people. His money is being used by Frango (Moyo) to advance his own political interests as he also intends to stand in Chiredzi West where the big boss (Musikavanhu) has set his sights. He will mourn when primary elections come. Wait and see,” said a source.
When contacted for comment, Musikavanhu admitted he was not happy with what happened.
“I am disappointed by the level of dishonest relating to this trip’s failure,” said Musikavanhu.
Chiedza, however, said the trip failed because they were US$200 short of the money that was needed.
“We failed to go to Matobo because we had a shortfall of US$200 which we wanted to use for the driver’s allowance and toll fees. We returned Mr. Musikavanhu’s money after the trip had failed,” said Chiedza.local

07 March 2017, MWENEZI – A 27-year-old Mwenezi man, who was battling to recover from a severe spinal injury sustained in a freak accident while offloading cement from a truck, died on Saturday last week following months of illness.
Phineas Chauke, who is survived by his wife and three children, was laid to rest at his rural home in Mukahamari village, chief Neshuro.
Chauke sustained spinal injuries after the door of the truck’s side trailer hit him below the chest while doing a piece job of offloading cement at Chingwanga hardware at Neshuro growth point some months ago.
While trying to open the truck load, Chauke was hit by the side door of the truck whose load was reportedly made of more than 600 bags of cement. He fell and some bags of cement fell on top of him.
Chauke was initially taken to Neshuro Hospital and then transferred to Masvingo General Hospital from where he was again referred to United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) and later on to Parerenyatwa Hospital where he underwent surgery and discharged.
However, his illness worsened and he developed deep sores on his backside and legs. This prompted family members to take him back to Neshuro where he was discharged for home-based care a fortnight ago but remain stuck at the hospital due to lack of funds. By the time of his death, Chauke was not able to walk or bend.local

Evacuated pupils wade through the stream from their hostels to the classrooms

Cephas Shava

07 March 2017, MWENEZI – About 270 girls at Lundi Christian High School were forced to swiftly vacate their residences on Monday after fierce waters from the flooded Runde River engulfed the tributary that bisects the main campus and the girls’ hostels.
Twenty-two members of staff staying in houses that are on the same side with the girls hostels had to spend the whole of Monday stuck on that side as the small stream could no longer be crossed.
Sources at the school told TellZim News the decision to move the girls out of their hostels and accommodate them in classrooms was taken after the realisation that the hostels were in danger of being flooded.
“When we realised that water levels were increasing at an alarming rate, we ordered the girls to take their few belongings and some blankets. As soon as all of them crossed to the other side, the stream that divides the hostels and the classrooms side was immediately flooded. They spent the night sleeping in the classrooms,” said a source.
On Tuesday, this reporter saw school uniforms hanging on classroom windows with authorities admitting that the case was bad as the girls could not return to their proper accommodation at least in the short run.
They also said though the tributary was no longer flooded, the girls will continue to sleep in the classrooms while authorities monitor the situation with assistance from the district Civil Protection Unit (CPU).local

Minutes of a recent full council meeting indicate that the line will be removed for good.

“…the request by OK Zimbabwe Limited, Masvingo Branch for the removal of the continuous white line along Hofmeyer Street, between Leopold Takawira Avenue and Josiah Tongogara Avenue be granted,” the resolution reads.
Masvingo Mayor; Hubert Fidze also told TellZim News that the resolution will soon be implemented, saying complaints over the line were also coming from residents.

07 March 2017, GWERU – Methias Muzvondiwa (19) and Wellington Muzvondiwa (24) of Chirumhanzu were recently sentenced to four years in prison each after they pleaded guilty to charges of assaulting a man who had complained that Methias was playing unpleasant music at a bar at which they were drinking.
Gweru Magistrate Kudakwashe Nemadire suspended 18 months and ordered the two to perform 12 weeks of community service at Makanya Primary School in Chirumanzu.
The remaining six months were suspended on condition that they each pay US$52.50 fine to Robert Majoni by March 31, 2017 through the Gweru clerk of court.
Appearing for the State, Andrew Marimo told the court that on December 4, 2016 at around 22:00 hrs, Majoni, Methias and Wellington were drinking beer at Chirove bar at Muwani business centre in Chirumhanzu.
A misunderstanding on the type of music played arose among Methias, Wellington, one Onias Takura, Majoni and one Funwell Marunga as they all wanted to operate the music system which was being operated by Methias.
Methias started assaulting Takura with clenched fists several times on the body and Wellington went on to strike Majoni once on the mouth with a clenched fist and they began to fight. It was heard that Methias then came from behind with a knife and stabbed Majoni on the back and escaped.
Takura filed a report to the police leading to the arrest of the two.

Chiredzi RDC buys bikes for councillors

Beatific Gumbwanda

07 March 2017, CHIREDZI – Chiredzi Rural District Council (RDC) has purchased forty motorbikes for its councillors as part of measures to ease travel and improve service delivery in the vast district.
Chiredzi RDC is one of the biggest districts in the country but is grappling with poor infrastructure that makes some remote parts of the district hardly reachable.
Areas like Chikombedzi and Malipati have some of the worst roads imaginable, and councillors from these areas sometimes turn up for meetings very late due to transport problems.
Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Isaac Matsilele said the move to give purchase the bikes came after the realisation that councillors must be able to stay in touch with communities all the time.
“All our councillors successfully passed their provisional licenses and we have given them their motorbikes,” said Matsilele.business, pictures

06 March 2017, MASVINGO – A Chivi man will this week appear in the High Court of Masvingo for allegedly murdering his friend who was also his neighbour for calling himself “Chibaba”, a chant derived from one of Soul Jah Love’s song lyrics which is understood to be an allusion to a ‘real’ man.
Thirty two-year-old Lameck Charidza, residing at Giri village under headman Chipundu in Chivi, will be charged for murder as defined in Section 47 (1) of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act Chapter 9:23.
On June 3, 2015 at around 1900 hrs, the accused was reportedly drinking beer with the now deceased Prosper Chamaona (24) at Mupanguri Primary School when a dispute arose between the two over who should be called “chibaba”.
The dispute degenerated into a physical fight as Charidza is alleged to have wanted the ‘honourable’ title to be his sole preserve.
Sausseki Nyandoro, a teacher at that school called Berejena police after trying and failing to stop the fight which left the now deceased unconscious.
The two were taken to Matibi Hospital where Chamaona was pronounced dead on arrival.
A post mortem was conducted which showed cervical subluxation.
A psychiatrist at Chikurubi Maximum Prison, Dr Mhaka, however, indicated that the accused was mentally challenged at the time of the offense.local
