Care Insurance Brokers, Nicoz Diamond to support golf in Masvingo

Care Insurance Brokers in partnership with Nicoz Diamond has embarked on a golf development drive in Masvingo as part of its social responsibility programme.
The initiative will see the two corporates sponsoring quarterly golf tournaments every year as a way of ploughing back into the community.
The insurance broker and risk management company, which has been in business for 14 years, offers all types of short term insurances from motor, property and pecuniary insurances.
The first tournament was played at Masvingo Golf Club on September 10, 2016 and attracted players from Hippo Halley, Roland Park and Renco Mine.
A total of 36 players participated in the tournament, which was won by a local player, Joseph Zawaira who scored 40 points playing off 14 handicap.
First runner up was Clemence Mativenga from Mutirikwi Golf Club (Renco) who scored 38 points playing off 14 handicap while another local, Shadreck Chisiiwa managed 37 points playing off 7 handicap.
Third runner up was Ambelal Gopal, playing off 17 handicap on 37 points, with Ziyaad Khan emerging as 4th runner up on 36 points off 12 handicap.
Bernard Badza from Zvishavane finished on 36 points off 12 handicap while Clifford Mumbengegwi, playing off 23 handicap bagged 36 points.
Skills longest drive on hole number 1 went to the captain of Mutirikwi Golf Club in Renco, Tawanda Nyamande, while hole number 17 was taken by Matthias Nyangani from Hippo Valley.
Nearest the pin on hole number 3 went to Thomas Mpofu from Renco with nearest the pin on number 18 was taken by Cephas Ngwenya from Masvingo Golf Club.
Two club pay outs went to Badza number 9, Willard Makazhe number 12, Mativenga number 9, Ngwenya number 18 and Thomas Mpofu number 3.
“We have, in fact, chosen Masvingo Golf Club to be a friend of Care Insurance Brokers because we are here through the support of our customers and we are saying thank you Wezhira. We look forward to continue doing business with the Masvingo community,” said Care Insurance Brokers Executive Director, Agrippa Marangwanda.
Meanwhile, the company has introduced the Political Violence and Terrorism Insurance which is fully supported by A rated securities to cover against such risks as looting of retail shops, material damage to property and business interruption.sport
