CHIREDZI – Lowveld Adventist Primary School constructed 3 blocks for the ECD pupil to ease challenges of over population of pupis. This was after pupils at the school were doing their lessons under trees .Amongst the 3 blocks that were constructed, there is also a toilets block.
The project is being funded by the SDA (School development Authority) and parents.
“Parents are the ones who are funding the building of the blocks since it was hard for the school to raise the funds and I am assured that in 3 weeks from now the blocks will all be functioning since they had to be finished during the holiday but due to some financial challenges it did not come as we wished,” said Ishmael Moyo the headmaster.
“It is also a challenge since some builders claim that they are the best but upon delivery of their service it is totally different since we want the best for our students, however we are going to continue developing our school some buildings are being repainted now to make sure the environment fits for the students “,he said.
Moyo also highlighted the challenge of materials since it affected the construction of buildings
“We have faced some challenges on materials to consider  the issue of pipes on toilet systems it really costs a lot and thus the only thing left on the newly constructed toilet to function”, said Moyo.news
