Masvingo Farm Supplies (MFS), one of the biggest suppliers of agricultural inputs and equipment, is soon to open a new branch in Masvingo Central Business District (CBD) for the convenience of its clients.
MFS, which has branches in Masvingo, Rusape, Ngundu, Chipinge, Nyika, Jerera, Gutu and Birchnough Bridge, will open the new shop in Hofmeyer Street, which is almost central to pick up points in town.
MFS Regional Sales and Marketing Officer Norman Dinner said the new branch will be convenient to farmers who may have challenges accessing their branch down in Greenfield Street.
“Our location was a bit inconvenient for customers hence the establichment of the new branch. It will enable customer convenience and access to transport,” Dinner said.
Meanwhile, MFS remains the sole supplier of tobacco seed in the province, and has embarked on a farmer support programme where farmers are connected to finance houses in order to help them access inputs on loan basis.
“Apart from offering technical support for farmers through our agronomists, we do farm visits and we partner with finance houses to provide inputs to farmers on a loan basis.
“In addition to that, we have also partnered with such irrigation schemes as Marova, Bhuka, Shereni and Rupike,” Dinner said.
MFS will be exhibiting at the 2017 Masvingo Agricultural Show for the convenience of those who want to know more about the exciting products and services that the diversified retail group has to offer.business
