Exsto Makunzva in Zvishavane

19 Feb 2017 – ZVISHAVANE – Mandla Mpofu, who had landed the coaching post at Shabanie Mine, last week made a sharp about turn and is believed to have joined another club in Bulawayo as assistant coach.
Mpofu is said to have asked for ‘too much’ at the Asbestos Miners and the executive could not meet his demands.
Executive chairman for Shabanie executive chairperson, Elias Marufu confirmed the new development.
“I can confirm that the Mandla Mpofu deal has collapsed and we have since roped in former Mutare City coach Takura Shariwa as our head coach,” Marufu told TellZim News over the phone.
Sharara is already in Zvishavane and has already started training and is also holding trials.
The new Bvaru Bvaru gaffer has a mammoth task to get the right personnel as former coach Tendai Chikuni took with him four players who include star left back, Ricky Bote and the former first choice goalkeeper, Emanuel Josphat.sport
