CHIREDZI – South Africa-based upcoming gospel artist, Violet Musakanye has released two single tracks, Anondisimudza and Munoshamisa with Reazonant Studio (Siloh Mpure) in Randburg, South Africa, where she works as a receptionist at Asmara Hotel.
Violet Musakanye (29) migrated to South Africa due to economic hardships in Zimbabwe and has now released the songs as tribute to the Lord whom she acknowledges as her provider.
She is currently working to release her first six-track album which she says will likely be released this coming December.
In a telephone interview, Musakanye said she was currently working alone, adding that her songs were inspired by many things including the word of God she listens to when at church.
“My songs just come from different sources of inspiration. I am, however, particularly inspired by the love of God that I experience everyday even when I am at work, at home or even walking on the streets.
“I don’t have any manager, I run my affairs alone but I expect to have one in the future. Currently, I am working on my first album which I hope will be released in December this year,” said Musakanye.
She said she was first inspired into the gospel music industry when she worked with Chiredzi-based choral groups like Summit Family, Shekina Voices and Unite Family International Church Choir.entertainment
