A number of youths from all over Masvingo thronged Charles Austin Theatre last week to showcase their diverse artistic talents.
Promoted by P & P Global Marketing, the event saw numerous artists of different age groups participating.
Most notable was a 7 year-old dancer performing at the same stage as a 30 year-old poet.
The programme was marked as the first round of the talent exhibitions and will be followed by the elimination stage before the final round which is expected to take place in May.
P & P says the objective is to develop raw individual artistic abilities into real talent as most youths lack opportunities to nurture their talents.
“We are providing a platform where these talented people can be exposed to the world from a stage in Masvingo. Our aim is to provide a breakthrough to those who may enjoy singing in the shower but with no chance of singing on stage,” P & P said in a statement.entertainment
