mourners, Mwenezi Rural District Council (RDC) Chief Executive Officer, Albert
Chivanga described Chauke as a development-oriented leader who left behind an
inspiring legacy that deserved to be preserved.

and a secondary school.

as one of the best performing councillors who, during his short period as Cllr,
did a lot for his ward.

was elected councillor on a Zanu PF ticket during last year’s harmonised
elections, winning uncontested after other political parties failed to field
contestants in the ward.
