Happymore Chidziva addressing the crowd

…Chipanga slammed for comparing nonagenarian to God

Beatific Gumbwanda

CHIREDZI – Youths from the Morgan Tsvangirai-led Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) and pressure group Tajamuka have promised dire consequences for President Robert Mugabe if he dares rig next year’s general elections the way he rigged all others in the past.
MDC-T national youth chairperson Happymore Chidziva, popularly known as Bvondo, was in Chiredzi last week to launch his party’s berekamwana campaign at Chitsanga Hall where he was joined by many others including Tajamuka leader Promise Mkwananzi.
The two youth leaders took turns to warn ‘ruthless’ Mugabe that he must play by the rules or risk an all-out backlash from young citizens if he dares fix up the elections’ outcome.
Chidziva, who is known for his fiery attitude against the government, labelled Mugabe and his Zanu PF party “Satanists”, blaming them for the Gukurahundi massacres of the 1980s and the death of hundreds of MDC-T supporters in 2008.
He also assured the rural electorate that an MDC-T government would not reverse Mugabe’s controversial land reforms but would instead work to even land ownership for the benefit of all people.
“Mugabe and Zanu PF are real Satanists, people are dying in rural areas due to lack of medication in hospitals…our government will not reverse the land reform but will focus on the one man one farm criteria,” said Chidziva.
An equally firm Mkwananzi said the 2018 elections should deliver an acceptable outcome lest the people are forced to take matters into their own hands.
“Tajamuka zvachose is our message to Mugabe if he tries to rig our vote….2018 is specifically chosen by God for change. The election is already won. Mugabe promised two million jobs but he successfully managed to secure only two for his son-in-law and daughter. We will make sure that we win this election and protect it with everything we have,” said Mkwanazi.
MDC-T youth secretary general Lovemore Chinoputsa mocked Zanu PF youth leader Kudzanai Chipanga for comparing ‘ruthless’ Mugabe with God.
“Mugabe is totally evil. There are many graves in Matabeleland that are a result of his Gukurahundi and many were tortured and killed in 2008.
“I want to warn Chipanga that God will have no mercy for his behavior of comparing Mugabe with the most high God,” said Chinoputsa.
Chipanga and others in Zanu PF have been courting the ire of believers with their persistent deifying of Mugabe and his wife Grace, something which many perceive to be bordering on complete sacrilege.
In Marondera last Friday, Chipanga went into overdrive with his distasteful superlatives and bootlicking for the first family, saying Mugabe and his wife were angels who will sit beside God vetting people into heaven.top news
