Avid pleasure hunters and serious conference guests can now look no further than Nyuni Mountain Lodge, a perfect retreat for those seeking to satiate their distinctive hospitality needs; whether they are looking for a perfect function venue or a place to unwind after a hectic week.

Nestled beneath the majestic Nyuni Mountain Range in the Glenlivet Village which sits on the eastern shores of the gigantic Lake Mutirikwi, Nyuni Mountain Lodge’s convivial precincts are a paradise for nature lovers.

“We present the most welcoming place to the ordinary reveller and to the more service-conscious business person. That includes party goers who want to explore our excellent function venues and freshen up in our expansive gardens,” says the Nyuni’s General Manager, Phanos Matura.

To ensure the guest’s travel convenience, Nyuni Mountain Lodge has introduced a shuttle service that runs to and from Masvingo Airport to the lodge and any other place in Zimbabwe.

“We have responded to guest demands for transport services. The shuttle service runs from town to the lodge and any other place our guests may want to go. Masvingo is endowed with many tourist resorts like the Great Zimbabwe monuments and Kyle Recreational Park that tourists may want to visit. We now offer a total package for the guest’s extra-convenience,” said Matura.

With spruced-up bed and function accommodation boasting super-fast internet, Nyuni Mountain Lodge has become the conference and event destination of choice offering wedding venues, sporting facilities and a host of outdoor activities.

Guests can also enjoy a fine dining experience at the lodge’s restaurant where they can tantalise their taste buds from health-oriented menus.

“All our services are customised to cater for individual needs and preferences, bearing in mind each guest’s unique desires. Besides being affordable, our rates are never rigid; they can be shaped and reshaped to suit everyone.” 

In the catering section, guests can expect anything from a light meal from the Nyuni Delights Snack Menu, which is customised for the budget conscious, to a hearty meal from the Nyuni Executive Menu, which is tailor-made to give value for money.

Built in 1997, Nyuni Mountain Lodge now boasts several dozen rooms with the largest conference room able to accommodate 60 people. Outdoor parties can, however, handle 3000 people in the lodge’s vast outdoor area.news
