MASVINGO – Glory Temple has become the first church in Masvingo province to introduce Point Of Sale (POS) swipe machines to easy payment of tithes and offerings as the nation continue to experience critical cash shortage, TellZim News can exclusively reveal.

The highly anticipated Bond Notes which were effected last week failed to tackle the cash crisis and people continued to use plastic money to buy goods and services, a move which prompted Glory Temple to also introduce swipe machines to ensure that congregants pay their tithes and offerings with much easy.
Confirming the development, Glory Temple founder Reverend Ntobeko Mhlanga urged congregants during sermon on Sunday that those with no hard cash can use the swipe machine to pay their tithes and offerings.
“Those who want to swipe can do so but please bear with us that we have one machine at the moment and as a result the queue might be a bit long. We are however, looking into that and I am sure we will have more machines anytime soon,” said Rev Mhlanga.
And indeed Rev Mhlanga correctly predicted that the queue would be long as congregants flocked to use the POS machine.
Glory Temple is well ahead of even some thriving businesses who are failing to provide POS machine to enable customers to buy using plastic money.
